22/03/1952 : Wales v France Good condition programme but with tear to front from this game between Wales and France.
Played at Swansea's St. Helens ground.
Wales 9 France 5
This was a quiet end to the season, but the Grand Slam was won nevertheless.
Cliff Morgan (injured) was replaced with Alun Thomas who got to play on his local ground. Another local favourite, Horace Phillips, gained his one and only cap in what was also the last appearance in a Welsh shirt of Lewis Jones. Michel Pomathios scored the French try.
A remarkable programme, which is now very rare. Few internationals were played at St. Helens.
